Used Cars Tips And Advices

There are several people looking to purchase used cars to make their daily life easier from taking public transports. Cars are essential if you are leaving outside London. If you are living in London then public transport is the best form of transportation other than car. The tubes and the buses run till late and there are many night buses that run over night. But the post will not be talking about that. This article includes the information on what you need to know before purchasing a used car.

In the past many have suffered by looking at the price before buying the car. Some people bought cars because they were cheap and some bought it because it looked nice from outside. That is not what you should be looking at when purchasing used cars. You should careful consider your options when buying one. Always do a lot of research and always look around you never know there might be a better car at the same price round the corner. These days you can read car reviews on several websites, which will definitely be useful when buying a used car.

It is always the inside that matters when buying the car, looks can always be made better. Just think about it, how long will the car last if the engine of the car is not as powerful as the outside of the car? One of my friends bought a car which looked good from outside rather than checking the inside of the car. Unfortunately it did not last long because it had to replace the engine just after 2 days which cost him another £800. Yes a lot of people have a certain budget to buy a car but you will be able to find a better in any sort of money just make sure you do your research and read reviews.

I bought used Audi R8 few weeks ago and so far (touchwood) I have had no trouble with it but that might have to do with the research I did before buying it.

Shall I Choose Used Or New Car?

Buying a car is always a hard thing to do? When your kid has just passed his/her test its easy to say lets buy a car but its not easy as that because you have a certain budget and have to look at other things before buying. If you are looking to buy a used car then you will have to make sure the car is in good condition and will also last you for next few years.

There are several cars out there to choose from but it is always hard to choose the right one. I suggest you read several feedbacks and reviews of the car you are looking to buy before actually buying it. You might read good review for ford cars and then decide let’s buy a ford but then again spend a lot of time researching, there just might be even better offer on the similar type of car somewhere else. That’s when you start to wonder which to choose from and which not to choose. Of course you will get one which is cheaper than the other which has the same performance but then you will have to wonder why it is cheaper? Has it got any technical fault??

These days nothing comes cheap so make sure you choose the right car that is going to last for sometime for all that money. Especially first time drivers have to look the car, the money and the insurance for the car before buying one. Car insurance these days are very expensive especially for people under the age of 25. People advise these drivers to choose a cheaper and a smaller car so that insurance will be low too. They won’t be able to afford insurance or the petrol if they buy Audi Q5 unless they are very rich.

Ford Or Audi

I have waited almost a year to write this review and I am glad I have finally written one. For last few months I have been driving new Audi (Audi TT Roadster), the new ford focus RS and few other powerful used cars. Both of these cars are made for one specific reason SPEED. Audi TT (Roadster) is a second generation super car. Ford Focus Mark 1 RS was a limited production and only available in 21 countries in Europe. The Mark 2 version is still being produced.

The whole purpose of my test drive was because I am interested in purchasing one of these two cars. As I am not that rich I cannot afford both of them although after the drive I would really love to buy both of these cars. Both of these cars are reliable and have power, speed, precision and awesome performance. I am not sure how economical they are petrol wise because I only test drove it. German cars are definitely more reliable than British cars but Ford Focus RS’s parts are manufactured in German, so I trust its reliability. Many of us still have doubts about whether or not to buy a ford but past few years Ford has built some wonderful car and the RS is certainly one of them.

Few weeks ago we decided to have a race when we were bored on a beautiful sunny Sunday. We are glad we came home alive because these cars were absolutely rapid. The handling of these machines for such power is tremendous. We really enjoyed both of these cars and we are planning to hire these cars when we visit Germany next month for work purpose. There is one motorway in Germany which doesn’t have a speed limit so you can test these machines to its maximum power. We will certainly let you know the results of the tests when we get back to UK.

My Experience In Driving New Audi

Couple of months ago I did test drove the new Audi R8. Yes I can certainly afford the car that’s why I took the R8 for a test drive. Why I chose R8? I absolutely love the way it looks and I also feel that the new Audi R8 is a fantastic looking machine with awesome power and performance. German cars not only Audi have been known for their power, safety and reliability and when I saw the first Audi R8 in 2006 I knew what I wanted to buy it. For last 4 years I have been saving money for this stunning machine.

The car was designed by Audi AG’s private company and apparently is similar to Lamborghini Gallardo. Now I bet you want to buy this car too? It is similar to Gallardo and also thousands of pounds cheaper than the Gallardo. The pick up speed of this car is crazy with a 4.2 litre V8 engine. Power output of 414bhp makes it a super fast car. When you reach third gear the power and the speed just kicks in thats when you realise what’s it like to drive a car similar to Gallardo.

I fell in love with Audi when I saw my uncle drive an Audi A4 Saloon. To be honest with you most of my family are German car lovers. Some have VWs and some have BMWs. Now I am not saying the youngsters like me have those cars too but now I have saved a bit for last 4 years I can certainly have one and R8 is what I want. When growing up I had three dreams, a dream job, a dream house and a dream car. My car dream is coming true now two to go. Now all I need to find is a cheap car insurance quote which I can afford for my new R8 and to be honest this might be the hardest part.

F1 Monaco Grand Prix 2010

Monaco Gran Prix 2010

2010 Monaco grand prix was definitely one of the crunching and stunning races for last couple of years. There were mechanical failures, crashes, skills involved and tempered flared in this race. It got me all excited and thought I will go for a quick drive in my used Audi TT roadster or my sister’s Audi Q5 which we bought from used cars places near our house few weeks ago. It was a terrible idea of me because in that hype I forgot how many speed cameras there are and also Audi is not as fast as F1 machines. So I will now stick with just watching and may be hire a F3 car in Silverstone to fulfil my desire.

It was hot and beautiful in Monaco for the race. The circuit is 3.340km long and the race distance is 260.520km. The race started with the Australian Mark Webber in pole position of red bull team and just behind him the Polish Robert Kubica of Renault team. Behind them two was the new emerging star of F1 Sebastian Vettel. Many people are tipping Vettel for the title this season after his wonderful season last year.

This race had some horrible crashes which brought safety car on to the race course few times. Mark Webber got in with a really good start alongside Vettel and they were running brilliantly in first and second place respectively. Webber was looking good and each time he pulled away from rest of the pack the race was interrupted by a safety car. Safety car played its part to make the race interesting as Webber couldn’t pull away. At the end of the race after 78 laps it was indeed the Australian who too the chequered just in front of Vettel and then Kubica who finished third.

The race highlight has to be Webber’s win but let’s not forget Alonso’s fantastic race from 23rd position to finish 6th it was a great race from the Spaniard.

Inside The Audi Mean Machine

Audi’s are said to be one of he most comfortable stylish cars on the market. You may be heading on your way to the garage to buy one, suddenly test dive a BMW instead  and then maybe opt for that one instead. It seems in today’s marketplace the Audi company is now making a come back and bringing out cars that make driving pleasurable. A really good Audi cars is the Audi RS4. Just looking at this car it oozes presence when you look at it. The RS4 comes with much sportier arches than the standard car and with much larger alloy wheels and tyres to fill them with. Even looking at the seats tells you straight away that this car means business.

If you went back to the eighties and nineties you would find that the Quattro’s of those days looked the part too as they dominated the rally scene. However just like some of the new Audi A3 cars, the RS4 looks like they have got the mix just right. The RS4 looks more subtle in its looks unlike the Quattros of yester-year, however when you get in and turn the key, you hear that monster V8 burble into action, you know there is something definitely going on. The seats just soak you up as you hold on to the steering wheel and plant your foot to the floor, then you know your driving something special.

With a six speed gearbox and the ratios perfectly matched to get you through the rev range quickly and its all round 4wheel traction coming from its Quattro system makes this a very exciting car to drive. The RS4 reaches a top speed of 155mph and will dash from 0-60 in less than 4.8 seconds is the claim that Audi gives. with oodles of power being produced from the 250bhp per ton engine gives great power to weight ratio.

This new Audi features a new deep grille and splitter and aero dam so when you look in the mirror you know something different is coming.

Choosing The Right Audi Car

2009 new AUDI cars (high quality)

Audi is certainly the top motor industry of the World. Audi is a German car manufacturer which has been with Volkswagen since 1964. Volkswagen introduced the launch of first Audi 60 in 1965. Now in the 21st century, they have launched the new stunning Audi R8 and if you compare this to the 1960’s Audi range you will see the difference between times and machines.

The German cars have always been know for their speed, power and reliability. Cars link BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Opel, Porsche, Volkswagen and Smart are all German cars. Audi is reliable, consistent and economical. Audi A3, A4, Q5 and Audi A4 Saloon are the most common Audi cars driven all around the World and certainly in the UK. When looking to buy a new car what do people look for? Here is in my opinion are the things that people look for when buying a car:

Deals

Offers definitely have to be the first. There are lots of people who look for 0% finance offers when buying a new car and they will continue to do so.

Price

Many people are looking to purchase a car within a certain budget. People that have a certain budget, look to find a car within their budget no matter if they reliable or not. Most people also look at the feature of whether the car is cheap to run or not. For example to see whether Audi Q5 is going to be expensive to run than Audi A3

Reliability

It is important to buy a car which is reliable otherwise you shouldn’t buy a car. Some people do not realise as they only care about the money and buy something which is under their budget.

Feedbacks and reviews

Reading feedbacks and reviews are definitely the first thing people do these days. There are many car review websites on the Internet which will help you out in reading about the car you are interested in buying. You will also be able to read the feedbacks of the general public who have already been driving the car.

Would You Drive In Greece?

I recently visited a country which holds the record of longest coastline. Greece is surrounded by Ionian Sea, Mediterranean Sea and Aegean Sea. It is one of the most beautiful countries I have visited but it surely isn’t the best place for driving especially Athens. We hired three used cars for six days of our trip and after six days we felt like we were driving in Asia other than Europe.

The traffic is horrific. People are pushing for spaces on the road, some people drive through tram lines, which is terribly dangerous. The main downside are the road signs. The road signs are in Greek and if you don’t know how to read and speak Greek then you struggle to find your way round Athens or even the whole of Greece to be honest. The only things in English are the billboards advertising for erotic clubs and online casinos, what good is that for us?.

To be honest outside Athens driving is the best. Our drive to Delphi which is situated 3 hours away from Athens in the heart of mountains is an amazing experience. The road leads through the mountains. It is a very dangerous road that leads to Arachova and then Delphi but it is definitely a most beautiful drive. It reminded me of our driving experience in the Himalayas of Nepal. The best driving experience was certainly in the island of Poros and Aegina. To get to these islands you will have to catch a ferry from Athens and then hire a separate car when you get there. Once you get there, there are few temples and historial scultures to go and see.

Driving can definitely be a nightmare in Greece but once you get used to it, then it certainly is the right choice. We went in the month of May and it gets hot then so it was a good idea to hire cars other than take public transport.

We hired Audi A4 Saloon for our trip to Delphi and Arachova so I thought I will tell you a bit about this car. I have always been a fan of writing car reviews on cars which I have used on my holidays to let help you people decide which car is the best to drive in which country. Audi was a great drive, very reliable and economical as well. So my recommendation is definitely Audi A4 Saloon if you are looking to a hire a car in Greece.

Which Car To Buy For Your First Car?

Just passed your driving test? Are you worried about which car to buy?. It is always difficult when you are a new driver and especially when you have to buy a car within your budget. Even if you find new cars within the budget you had then another thing to worry about is the insurance of the car. So is it really worth passing your driving test at the current economy stage?

Car is a useful factor for people who live outside London as they can come in use in a regular basis in their daily life. I say outside London, because London has a fantastic public transport service with the tubes, late night buses and day time public buses where as in Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds or any other cities there is no tube line, there is only bus service and that only works till 11:30p.m and some people have work till late. People who work in factories and 24 hours retail stores need to have cars.

My sister passed her driving test three weeks ago and we all have been looking at getting her a reasonable used car as we cannot afford the new BMW. The car she looked at was £1,500 but the insurance of that car came upto £3,450. To me this is a joke. Someone should come forward and offer something which is reasonable.

Because of this people who have recently passed their driving are thinking is it worth having a car in their life and spend so much money in insurance. Some people just cannot afford to pay such amount. May be the insurance was high because she is a new driver under the age of 25 and may be it was to do with the make of the car, but it is not only her who is suffering, there are other people who are finding the same problem and refusing to pay such amount and still catching the public transport. I was lucky enough to pass it 6 years ago, I paid about £2,650 for a year and this was for a new Audi TT Coupe. I will still suggest people to buy used cars when they have just passed their driving test.

Choosing The Right First Car!

Buying your first car is a huge thing in most peoples lives and will stay with you for the rest of your life, so its getting it right is important. You have to go to a dealership, have a look at the cars they have to offer, test drive a few cars and then probably go to another dealership if you don’t find anything you like in the first dealership.

Don’t jump in first spend time researching. Unless you’ve won the lotto, your first car should be one that gets good gas mileage and is very reliable. It’s very easy to only look at how a car look and yes this is important but its also important to look at other things such as reliability. Try and find which cars have got a good reputation by looking at blogs and talking to as many people as you can.

The good news is you do not have to be a car expert or mechanic to learn as much as you can about cars. Here are some initial things to think about:

1. How much do you have to spend?

2. How many people will drive your car?
3. What size car are you looking for?
4. How much are you willing to pay for petrol?
5. Do you need a new car, or will a used car do?

Once you have answered all these questions you can start trolling through the many car sites and local advertising to try find your perfect match. Another big aspect to buying your first car is insurance, this can be very expensive and dictate what kind of car you can buy. Used cars will have more affordable insurance compared to buying a newAudi TT Roadster for example.

There are many ways to save money in auto insurance, from finding the best package to lowering your rate by adding deductibles or being a named driver on parents insurance.
