From the partnership of Montoya and Piguet was born the Pablo Montoya Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph in titanium (model no. 26030IO.OO.D001IN.01), specifically created in 2002 to celebrate the Royal Oak’s 30th anniversary in the industry.This watch is powered by an exclusively manufactured AP Caliber 2226/2840 self-winding movement with circular-grained bridges in Cotes de Geneve décor.It has a power reserve of 40 hours with chronograph functions that include hours, minutes & seconds.
This Montoya model (ID:3182) has a 42-mm titanium case with the usual Royal Oak octagonal bezel with carbon fiber protection.The silver mega tapisserie dial is complemented by applied index hour markers, white subdials, and tritium-coated luminous hands.The sapphire crystal exhibition caseback is expertly engraved with its name “Royal Oak Offshore Limited Edition Juan Pablo Montoya” and is water resistant up to 100 meters.It comes with a black ingrassato leather w/white stitching and hidden folding deployment clasp.
The Audemars Piguet Limited Edition Juan Pablo Montoya Royal Oak models come in Rose Gold, Platinum, and Titanium cases.This titanium model is limited to only 1000 pieces, making it one of the coveted Royal Oak Offshore watches.Though still available in the market, it now sells for almost twice its original retail price and is sought after by watch aficionados.
